As I thought about the topics I would cover in this blog, I realized that the best way to begin this new phase was to write this article. This article will properly introduce myself, tell you what topics I will be writing about, and, most importantly, thank you for being part of this community.
My name is Joana Miguel-Pacheco. I am a holistic therapist and existential coach. Over 10 years ago, I began a path of personal self-discovery, which led me to learn Reiki, Crystal Therapy, Reconnection, yoga, and meditation.
To summarize my story, I can say there have been three pivotal moments in my life:
When I suffered burnout, which led me to my first crystal and sound healing session. That was my spiritual awakening. At that moment, I felt a new world opened up for me, one I felt especially comfortable with. From then on, I connected with all the techniques I now practice in my energy healing sessions.
When I fully dedicated myself to my profession for the fourth time, hoping to be recognized by others, and that wasn't the case. At that moment, having the support of practicing yoga and meditation was what helped me overcome my depression.
Just when I thought I had gotten through the toughest times, I suddenly began to suffer from an anxiety disorder. At that moment, I realized I had many unresolved issues, and the knowledge I had accumulated up to that point would help me move forward.
A couple of years later, I realized that everything I had experienced up until then had prepared me to accompany others on their path of personal self-discovery. Today, thanks to all the knowledge I applied during these important moments in my life, I am ready and willing to accompany you on your journey of personal growth.
And through this blog, I want to share with you information on topics such as acceptance, boundaries, emotional management, empowerment, resilience, and purpose; all of these topics viewed through my practice of yoga, meditation, and coaching, that is, from a compassionate and loving perspective. And how, through them, I finally overcame burnout and found well-being.
